DialMe

Skip the DMs: guaranteed replies from your favourite creators, and a paid line creators can share anywhere people follow them.

The problem

Message a creator you love and you’re one more unread DM in a very long pile. Creators have the same problem from the other side: their attention is worth money, and their inbox pays nothing. DialMe gives both a better deal, with guaranteed replies for fans and a paid line for creators.

I redesigned the app across 20 screens, and every one of them had to make that deal feel obvious.

One line, shared anywhere.

Say it in three words

The welcome screen opens on “Skip the DMs” and a single promise of guaranteed replies, then gets out of the way with Continue with Apple. From there the creator’s line does the selling: a short note in their own voice (“I read every message myself”), a response time of under 24 hours and a first message marked free. Fans try it before they pay, and when they run out, the top-up names the price plainly.

The whole pitch, on the first screen.

Your name is the product

For creators, onboarding builds up to one thing: their link. Pick a username, see “@jeanfran is available”, and dialme.com/jeanfran is yours to drop in a bio. Everything before that moment is short on purpose, because the link is what starts the money coming in.

Making the first $10 feel close

This is my favourite line in the app. A payout threshold usually reads as a hurdle, so the earnings page turns it into a sum: “Earn $10 to unlock payout. At your $2.50 rate, that’s only 4 paid messages.” Four messages sounds like something you could get by Friday.

Invite & Earn gets the same treatment. Creators earn 10% of what anyone they invite makes, for life, and the screen answers the awkward question straight away: it never comes out of their pay.

$6.17 in, and the goal in plain sight.
